Original article:

A man was taken to hospital after collapsing and requiring cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) at Gurame Indonesian Restaurant on Saturday (Sep 1).

Stomper S arrived at a wedding event being held at the venue at 1pm when he saw a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) ambulance and paramedics.

He shared a video with Stomp taken at the scene where an SCDF officer and paramedics are seen performing CPR on the man.

"He did not gain consciousness for 15 minutes," the Stomper said.

"The paramedics then packed up their things and took him away to the hospital."

S added that he heard the man was a DJ at the event.

In response to Stomp's media query, an SCDF spokesman said they were received a request for medical assistance at 11 Changi Coast Walk at about 12.37pm.

"A man was conveyed to Changi General Hospital (CGH) which was alerted to be on standby," the spokesman said.
