Man pays $6.50 for 'upsized' fish soup beehoon from Clementi food stall, ends up with no fish

He paid more for more fish... but ended up with none.

Stomper Kuan recently ordered fish soup beehoon from Lee Kwang Kee Teochew Cuisine at Clementi 448 Market and Food Centre on Tuesday (Oct 24).

However, he was extremely disappointed and shared with Stomp a video showing there was no fish to be found in his meal.

"This is so absurd," he said.

"The regular size was $4.50 but I asked for the $6.50 one as I wanted to have more fish, but in the end I got NONE.

"I poured out the soup wanting to warm it up and there were no fish slices in the soup!"

"This is so ridiculous."

When asked if he went back to the stall to report the matter, Kuan said he did not as he does not stay nearby.

"It explains why this once famous stall has lost so much business over the years," he said.

"I bought from them as the other two fish soup stalls had long queues."
