Man in Yishun apprehended and taken to hospital

A 36-year-old man in Yishun was apprehended and taken to hospital on Wednesday morning (July 5).
Stomper Clarice shared photos of police cars and an ambulance at the scene at Block 316C Yishun Avenue 9.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they received a call for assistance at the block at about 7.35am.
They added: "A 36-year-old male was apprehended under Section 7(1) of the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act 2008 and was conscious when conveyed to the hospital."
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp that it conveyed the man to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
