Milli Vanilli sang Blame It On The Rain.

Which makes sense since it is because of the persistent wet weather in Singapore lately that the ground can be a little slippery.

But a man who apparently fell on a wet pavement at Jurong West Avenue 5 seemed to blame an innocent rubbish bin instead.

In a video posted online by Beh Chia Lor on Jan 17, the man in a black cap, black mask, black tee and black shorts can be seen getting up from the ground and dismantling the bin as he threw the parts onto the road one by one.

He appeared to accidentally throw his phone as well before picking it up from the road.

The man then put his flip-flops back on and walked away.

The post read: "Man seems to accidentally slip on wet floor next to bus stop dustbin and fall down, proceeds to take anger out on the bin. Seen at Jurong West."

Netizens rubbished the man for his behaviour.

One commented: "Lol he threw his phone together with the bin. Hope he breaks his phone like how he tries to break the bin. Karma."

Another said: "He should throw away his slippers, not the bin."

Somebody else commented: "Lucky he has mask on, if not he gonna get famous among his friends, coworkers."

But another netizen pointed out: "He can wear mask but cannot hide his tattoo on his legs. He can run but cannot hide. Guess soon police will come knocking."

However, one netizen asked a pertinent question: "Why was he recorded when he fell?"
