Man, 59, arrested for attempted murder of woman, 48, at Pari Dedap Walk unit

A 59-year-old man has been arrested for the attempted murder of a 48-year-old woman who was found wounded at a residential unit along Pari Dedap Walk in Bedok.

The police received a call for assistance at tthe unit on Wednesday (Dec 30), at around 8am.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers found the woman wounded on the floor outside the unit. She was taken to hospital in a conscious state and is in a stable condition.

Preliminary investigations reveal that both parties are known to each other.

The man was subsequently arrested inside the unit and will be charged in court on Thursday with attempted murder.

If convicted, he faces life imprisonment or a jail term for up to 20 years and a fine.
