Man, 41, found dead on ledge of HDB block at Bendemeer

A 41-year-old man was found lying motionless on a ledge at Block 43 Bendemeer Road on Wednesday evening (Mar 24).

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a video he took showing Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and police vehicles arriving at the scene.

Officers are then seen climbing onto a ledge just under the second storey of the block where a death tent is set up.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to a case of unnatural death at the said location at 6.21pm.

"A 41-year-old man was found lying motionless at the said location and was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
