Man, 26, arrested for molesting 15-year-old girl along New Upper Changi Road

A 26-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly molesting a teenage girl along New Upper Changi Road.

The police said in a statement that a 15-year-old girl reported she had been molested by an unknown man along New Upper Changi Road on Oct 20 at about 12.15pm.

Through follow up investigations, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on Thursday (Oct 24).

Investigations are ongoing.

The offence of outrage of modesty carries a jail term of up to two years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
