Handphones and cash missing after break-in at Canberra Crescent shop

Staff of a mobile phone store at Block 120 Canberra Crescent turned up for work on Monday morning (Aug 20) to discover that items and cash were missing from the shop.

Stomper W alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a picture showing police at the scene.

W, a resident in the area, said the photo was being circulated in a WhatsApp group chat with her neighbours.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to a case of housebreaking and theft by night at 9.56am.

Stomp understands that mobile phones and money from the cash register were missing.

Police investigations are ongoing.
