GetGo car user tries to 'drift' on multi-storey carpark roof in Bukit Merah, gets advisory email

Have you seen the movie The Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift?

The driver in the GetGo rental car caught on camera attempting to "drift" on the roof of a Bukit Merah multi-storey carpark probably did.

Stomper Yun alerted Stomp to a video of the incident at Block 37A Jalan Rumah Tinggi posted on Reddit.

The Dec 20 post said: "Drifting at midnight and burning up the tyres, this is why we can't have nice things."

One commenter asked: "Where is the drift?"

In response to a Stomp query, a GetGo spokesperson said: "For the incident involving a user drifting with a GetGo car, we sent an advisory email on Dec 21 to the user in the video.

"We took no further action as no vehicle damage or injuries were caused."
