A mother in the UK has posted photos of her daughter on the Internet to warn people about the effects of drugs as well as to stay away from them.
According to The Daily Mail, 16-year-old Leah Robinson was hospitalised after taking ecstasy over Christmas.
She was unconscious after consuming the drug was put in a coma following a brain scan,
There were also significant differences to Leah's appearance. Red marks appeared on her face and her lips swelled considerably.
Thankfully however, she managed to make a full recovery.
Leah's mother then took to Facebook to use her daughter's ordeal as a warning to potential abusers.
Writing on Facebook, she said:
"I put the picture up so no other kids would think of taking these tablets again."
