Food delivery rider taken to hospital after getting rear-ended by Merc at Stadium Drive

A 49-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital after his motorbike was rear-ended by a Mercedes-Benz along Stadium Drive on Wednesday evening (Oct 6).

A video of the incident was shared on SG Road Vigilante's YouTube channel.

In the footage, the Merc hits the motorcycle from behind, sending the rider flying.

The motorcyclist appears to be a food delivery rider but it is unclear for which company.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 7.34pm.

A 49-year-old motorcyclist was taken conscious to the hospital, a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
