Following reports of 'undercooked' burger patties and fried chicken, a Stomper was disappointed to receive chicken that had been 'over-fried'.

Stomper Frederick told Stomp that he recently ordered Chicken McCrispy from a McDonald's restaurant at Tampines East Community Club.

"First, there was an undercooked burger, followed by undercooked chicken," he said.

"And today, I have over-fried chicken.

"Have you changed all your kitchen staff or do you prefer to have your food overcooked instead of undercooked?"

Frederick said this is not the first time he has ordered food from that particular outlet but it is the first time he has received such 'badly cooked and tasting chicken'.

In response to a Stomp query, a McDonald's spokesman said: "Food quality is a top priority for us.

"We're sorry to hear about our customer's experience and have reached out directly to make good on the matter."

In June, a man said he had diarrhoea after discovering 'raw pink' beef in his Quarter Pounder burger.

Another customer said they received undercooked fried chicken from a McDonald's in Bukit Batok.

However, McDonald's clarified the chicken was cooked and the redness of the meat is normal and it is safe for consumption.
