A fire broke out at Bao Gong Temple in Sengkang in the early hours of Tuesday morning (July 25).

Stomper Ben shared with Stomp a video of the fire that he captured after dropping off a passenger at Block 447A Jalan Kayu nearby.

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to a fire along Sengkang West Avenue at about 2.35am.

"The fire involved the contents of a storage shed," an SCDF spokesman said.

"SCDF extinguished the fire using a water jet."

There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
