A family of four had nothing but praises after their recent visit to Chinese restaurant Peach Garden at The Heeren on Nov 14.

Stomper Rebecca shared that she decided to check out the new outlet with her family for dinner as she heard it was 'quite nice'.

She added that there is an ongoing promotion where children aged 12 and below get a free basket of dim sum each.

"There were a few types to choose from, no minimum spend needed and the food was quite decent," she said.

To make the deal sweeter, she was impressed when a server informed her that Peach Garden would be donating dim sum to Canossaville Children and Community Services in a charity event to kick off this promotion.

"When I first saw others posting about this online, I thought it might be a gimmick with some strings attached," Rebecca said.

"But turns out, it's real, no minimum spending and they give each kid a free basket of dim sum once you show the promotion post."

Rebecca ended up paying $144.82 for her family's dinner and said that it was 'really worth it'.

She added that she hopes to share this with other families so that more people can enjoy the promotion during the school holidays.
