Elderly Malaysian woman claims her son sold his 3 kids to fuel drug addiction

A 70-year-old Malaysian woman, Man Tai Hoh, claimed that her son sold three of his four children to feed his drug addiction.

Man said that her son has two children, aged 7 and 9 with his ex-wife and two more, 5 and 6, with his current girlfriend, reports The Star Online

She alleged that her eldest grandson was only 8 months old when his father sold him off.

She said: "My 7-year-old grandson was abandoned by his mother at my doorstep when he was about 3-month-old and I have been raising him ever since.

"The remaining two children were also sold off by my son to fuel his lifestyle and he has, on various occasions, visited me and threatened to take away the child under my care."

Prior to this, she had lodged police reports in 2011, 2014, and 2016.

She lamented: "I hope someone can help me as I am already so old and have health issues like high blood pressure, diabetes and heart problems."

Man’s biggest worry is that her son might return for the child under her care one day when she is gone.

Other than that, the two are also struggling with the day-to-day expenses, living on the RM300 (S$96) which she receives from the Welfare Department monthly.
