Driver upset after 'pai kia' rider points middle finger, aggressively forces him to stop at roadside

The police are investigating a case of road rage involving a driver and motorcyclist along Pasir Panjang Road on Aug 10.

Several Stompers alerted Stomp to a video of the incident that was posted on SG Road Vigilante's Facebook page.

In the video, the rider is seen pointing his middle finger at the driver of a white Honda Shuttle.

According to the video's caption, the driver had turned out without checking.

However, he was incensed by the rider's gestures that he began driving aggressively, forcing the rider to stop by the side of the road so he could confront him.

He is then seen grabbing at the rider and calling him a 'pai kia' or hooligan in Hokkien.

The caption said Traffic Police officers arrived at the scene soon after.

In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed a report was lodged and investigations are ongoing.

The video has since garnered over 99,000 views. Netizens have slammed the driver's aggressive behaviour and said it was good it was all captured on video.

Some said that the rider and driver are as bad as each other.
