Driver taken to hospital after accident involving lorry and his car on BKE near Bukit Panjang exit

A 26-year-old man was taken to the hospital after the car he was driving was involved in an accident with a lorry on the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) on July 15.

Stomper Lim shared a video showing several stationary vehicles on the expressway near the Bukit Panjang/Choa Chu Kang Road exit.

A badly damaged black car can be seen at the side of the road with a man wearing a red shirt in the driver's seat. Farther ahead, a white chiller lorry with a damaged front bumper had stopped on a road chevron.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted at 9.57am to an accident along the BKE towards Woodlands.

The car driver was conscious when taken to the hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
