Driver appealing for witnesses to hit-and-run after finding his Merc damaged at Bishan carpark

A driver is appealing for witnesses after his car was involved in a hit-and-run at a multi-storey carpark at Block 513 Bishan Street 13 on Nov 29.

Stomper Ben told Stomp that he parked his Mercedes-Benz at 3.45pm and went to get a late lunch and go grocery shopping.

When he returned to his car at 4.50pm, he discovered his vehicle was damaged and no notes or other parties were present.

He added that his in-car camera only works when his car engine is on.

"I waited a couple of hours for owners of cars near me to come back but most of them either did not have cameras installed or their vehicles do not record unless the engine is on," he said.

Ben has since reported the matter to the police but said he needs to gather more witnesses: "Please do help me appeal for witnesses as the carpark traffic seems heavy on a day-to-day basis."
