A man was caught on camera reversing his car into a parked vehicle and acting like he had not a care in the world.

This is further evidenced by how he appeared to be shrugging and grinning after the collision, then leaving the scene without a word.

Stomper Shaun shared dashcam footage of the incident that occurred on Sunday (Oct 15), at around 11.12am.

In the video, a white Lexus is seen reversing into the Stomper's car with a loud thud.

The Lexus driver and his female passenger then exit the vehicle to check the damage on both cars. The Lexus driver can be seen raising his hands in a shrugging gesture while the woman walks off.

He later continues to inspect the damage and communicates with an onlooker at the carpark, and is spotted grinning before getting back into his Lexus and driving away.

Shaun, who shared photos of the damage on his vehicle, told Stomp: "This irresponsible white Lexus #SKL3898M driver drove off without leaving his contact details after reversing into my car.

"I have lodged a police report regarding the hit-and-run. I will also go to the workshop to seek advice and report insurance.

"Please, don't need to run away.

"I hope the driver will see this post and contact me before I claim against his insurance."

In response to a Stomp query, the police confirm that a report was lodged and investigations are ongoing.
