Dragon flies in 'most beautiful block in Bishan' after residents decorate void deck for 3rd straight CNY

It's that time of the year again.

And the residents of Block 219 Bishan Street 23 have come through once more with the Chinese New Year decorations for the void deck.

"This is the third successive year the residents put up the decorations," said Stomper KG, who shared the positive feedback he received.

Someone commented: "The void deck looks amazing, ready to charge into the Year of the Dragon! Please convey our thanks to everyone who worked so hard to put it up."

Another exclaimed: "Wow! Most beautiful block in Bishan."

The Stomper said "We must all thank Phillip, Rosie and their three lovely daughters plus a boyfriend for all the many hours they spent in the design planning, sourcing, purchasing, assembling and installation work done."

A total of 21 neighbours contributed, according to the Stomper, who listed the two big, bright red lanterns in front of the lifts as highlights of this year's decorations.

"Then there's the hard-to-mount 5m-long dragon and the bus photo standee, well assembled by the 10th floor's Tan family," said the Stomper.

"Happy to see all the many smiling faces who pass by our lift lobby. Have a great CNY."
