A man is grateful to a doctor who happened to pass by and stopped to help him when he was injured in Little India

Stomper Low said it happened on March 6 at around 10.30am.

He told Stomp that he accidentally cut his wrist with a knife blade while he was removing a sticker from a glass door.

"I came out of the condo to look for help," said the Stomper.

"Luckily, passing by was a doctor with a handsome guy," said the Stomper.

"If I'm not wrong, she was jogging when she saw me with my hand bleeding. She told me she was a doctor from A&E and helped to stop the bleeding before the ambulance arrived."

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force said that at about 11am, it received a call for assistance near 366 Race Course Road and conveyed one person to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

The Stomper shared photos of his bandaged hand and the stitches he got around his left wrist after he was taken to hospital.
