Two large pieces of corrugated metal sheet fell off the back of a moving lorry at Bukit Batok Road on Friday (Jan 13).
Sharing a dash cam video of the incident, Stomper George said that it happened at around 6.40pm to 6.45pm.
"The objects suddenly dropped out. I couldn't avoid the obstacles in time and went through them," recounted the Stomper.
"It was very dangerous, especially for bikers because they could trip and fall."
Fortunately, the motorcyclist behind the lorry was in a different lane.
The lorry driver seemed to be aware of what happened because after the metal sheets fell on the road, the video shows the lorry slowly coming to a stop as the Stomper overtook it at the junction near Bukit Batok West Avenue 5.
In October, several heavy metal plates fell off a lorry, causing a seven-hour closure of the Nicoll Highway entrance to the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway, which led to police investigating the lorry driver.
