72-year-old woman taken to hospital after accident involving 2 cars along Yio Chu Kang Road

A 72-year-old woman was taken to hospital after two cars collided along Yio Chu Kang Road on Monday afternoon (Dec 16).

Stomper Eddie alerted Stomp to the accident and shared a photo he took while he was passing by the scene.

"I saw an old lady sitting on a grass patch with police officers," he said.

"She looked traumatised."

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident along Yio Chu Kang Road towards Serangoon Central by Hougang Avenue 2 at about 12.25pm.

"One of the car passengers, a 72-year-old woman, was conscious when conveyed to Sengkang General Hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
