62-year-old man knocked down by lorry while crossing road at Yishun carpark

An elderly pedestrian was hit by a lorry while crossing the road at a carpark at Block 102 Yishun Avenue 5, near Chong Pang, on Saturday morning (July 14).

According to ROADS.sg which posted a video of the incident, the lorry driver did not see that the man was crossing the road.

The police were alerted to the accident at 6.57am.

A police spokesman told Stomp: "The pedestrian, a 62-year-old man, was conscious when conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital."

Police investigations are ongoing.
