50-year-old woman taken to hospital after getting injured at Tiong Bahru Market

A 50-year-old woman was taken to hospital after allegedly falling down at Tiong Bahru Market on Wednesday afternoon (Dec 26).

Stomper Kohji was passing by the area when he noticed an ambulance at the scene.

A video that he filmed shows paramedics attending to the woman as passers-by watched.

Kohji told Stomp: "I saw an auntie on the ground with her head bandaged, so I believe she might have fallen down."

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it responded to a call for medical assistance at 30 Seng Poh Road at around 2.20pm.

The woman was taken to Singapore General Hospital.
