45-year-old man arrested for allegedly molesting woman at Chai Chee Street

A 45-year-old man was arrested on Saturday (May 15) for allegedly molesting a woman along Chai Chee Street.

The police received a report at around 12.50pm on May 11 from the victim, who informed that she had been molested by an unknown male.

Through follow-up investigations and with the aid of images from police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the suspect's identity and arrested him.

The man will be charged in court with outrage of modesty on Monday (May 17).

The offence of outrage of modesty carries a jail term of up to two years and/or a fine and/or caning.
