25-year-old motorcyclist killed in Tuas accident with lorry, man arrested for careless driving

A 25-year-old motorcyclist died in an accident with a lorry in Tuas on Wednesday morning (Oct 25).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Tuas View Link and Tuas View Walk at 7.45am.

The male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) paramedic.

"A 46-year-old male lorry driver was arrested for careless driving causing death," police added.

A video of the accident scene posted on TikTok shows a white tarpaulin in front of the lorry, presumably to cover the victim's body.
