A 23-year-old woman was taken to hospital after an accident involving a car and a lorry at the junction of Canberra Road and Sembawang Way on Friday morning (Oct 19).

A Stomper was near Sembawang MRT Station when he noticed the accident scene at around 7.05am.

Photos that he contributed show a red car with its front bumper badly damaged.

Responding to a query by Stomp, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 6.35am.

The car passenger was conscious when conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, said the Singapore Civil Defence Force.

Police investigations are ongoing.
