An 18-year-old teenager will be charged on Thursday (May 6) with rash act after he allegedly threw a punching ball down from his flat.
The police had received a call for assistance along Bukit Batok Street 52 on January 17, at around 11.10pm.
Through follow-up investigations, officers from Jurong Police Division established that the teenager had allegedly thrown a punching ball - with the base attached - down from his residential unit.
If found guilty of rash act, the teenager faces a jail term of up to six months and/or a fine of up to $2,500.
In a statement on Wednesday, the police said they have zero tolerance against acts that endanger the lives or safety of others and will not hesitate to take action against those who blatantly disregard the law.
