The 13 suspects will be investigated for non-compliance of safe distancing measures under the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020.

Two of the men, aged 36 and 48, were also arrested for allegedly using the unit as a common gaming house.

Eight other men, aged between 37 to 69, are also being investigated for allegedly gaming in a common gaming house.

Gambling-related paraphernalia were seized as case exhibits.

Police investigations are ongoing.

The police said they take a serious view against all forms of illegal gambling activities and will continue to take tough enforcement action against offenders in accordance with the law.
