A resident has been losing sleep over noise caused by youths playing basketball late into the night in Marsiling.

Stomper Frenki said the basketball court at Block 204 Marsiling Drive has not been locked at night for the "past few months", resulting in youths playing basketball as late as 11pm.

He shared videos showing two people shooting hoops in the court at night. Loud noises such as the ball bouncing, slamming the basketball board and rattling the hoop can be heard.

Frenkie said: "Some youngsters have been playing basketball at the unlocked court from 11pm onwards. It has been creating alot of noise disturbances to residents."

In response to a Stomp query, a spokesman for Marsiling-Yew Tee Town Council said: "Gated courts are usually locked from 9pm onwards across the estate.

"Our team has been reminded to lock the respective courts diligently."
