Woman injured after accident involving her motorcycle and car at Bukit Merah junction

A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after her bike was in an accident with a car at the junction of Jalan Bukit Merah and Henderson Road on Thursday (Oct 5).

Stomper Peter shared photos of the woman lying on the road and being attended to by passers-by and paramedics next to a motorcycle on its side.

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the accident at 9.35pm.

The 28-year-old motorcyclist was conscious when taken to Singapore General Hospital.

When contacted by Stomp, the police said a 56-year-old male car driver is assisting with investigations, which are ongoing.
