An angry woman was caught on video scolding a porridge seller for serving someone else before her at the Bukit Timah Market and Food Centre on Monday (Oct 2).

Sharing a video of the incident, Stomper Karen said it happened at around 7.50pm.

"I was in the queue for the porridge," recounted the Stomper.

"This lady cut the queue and questioned the stallholder. She shouted that she had waited very long and asked why the uncle had given the porridge to the man first, not her.

"The uncle claimed that the man came before her and even showed her that the man made the payment transaction ahead of her. She could not accept it and made a big fuss, scolding the uncle.

"This uncle is an old man doing a one-man show. She kept scolding him and banged the takeaway containers very loudly. Her husband tried to stop her, but she refused to listen to her husband and continued scolding and cursing the uncle.

"The uncle offered to return her the money, but she refused to accept it. When we tried to stop her from making a fuss, she even scolded us.

"This old uncle was only trying to earn a living, and she is making a big fuss and chasing off some of the customers who were in the queue."
