Volkswagen driver bangs on car and tries to force open door after lane dispute

Police are investigating a road rage incident in which a Volkswagen driver was seen behaving aggressively towards another motorist.

The incident occurred in Jalan Bahagia on May 29, but came to light after Facebook page SG Road Vigilante uploaded a video of it on Monday (June 12).

In the video, a man is seen alighting from his Volkswagen Touran to confront the driver of another vehicle. He can then be seen trying to force open the other party's locked door and banging on the window.

According to the video caption, the Volkswagen driver was unhappy that the other motorist had attempted to cut into his lane despite having done the same thing.

In response to a Stomp query, the police confirm that a report was lodged and investigations are ongoing.
