Van hits parked Volkswagen at Punggol Container Park and drives off: Witness

A car parked at Punggol Container Park was hit by a departing van on March 3, according to a witness.

Stomper Ko Ko, who saw the hit-and-run accident, shared a photo of the blue Volkswagen Scirocco with a dent behind the right front headlight.

The car does not belong to the Stomper.

At 1.45pm, he was walking from Fat Po restaurant at Tebing Lane to City Sprouts Punggol urban farm when he saw a van reversing to leave the carpark.

"It smacked into the blue car. I heard the sound of the two vehicles colliding," recounted the Stomper.

"The van drove off immediately after the accident. I forgot the vehicle plate number."

He said the Volkswagen was still there at 8.16pm.

"I do not know who the car belongs to," said the Stomper.
