Van beats red light, causing motorcyclist and pillion rider to fall off bike at Pasir Ris

A van was caught on video beating a red light along Loyang Avenue on Feb 29.

Stompers Allen and Freddie alerted Stomp to footage of the incident that was posted on SG Road Vigilante's Facebook group page.

In the video, the van is seen zooming along Loyang Avenue despite a red light showing.

The driver's action causes a motorcyclist coming from Pasir Ris Drive 1 to brake hard.

This causes the rear wheel of the bike to lift off the ground and the rider and his pillion rider to topple over.

Netizens have slammed the driver's actions, calling for his licence to be revoked.
