Trailer overturns on slip road along BKE

A trailer overturned on a slip road along Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) leading towards Seletar Expressway (SLE) this morning (Oct 10) at about 11am.

There were no reported injuries.

Stompers Mike and Rashid shared photos of the accident with Stomp.

In the photos, a trailer is seen lying sideways on a road.

"This is a really serious accident," said Mike.

"What if there was a broken down bike or a car at the road shoulder when the lorry toppled?

Rashid also shared a voice clip circulating on WhatsApp that informed other motorists to be careful on the road due to the accident.

Stomp understands that only one driver was in the trailer at the time of the accident.

In response to a Stomp media query, the police said: "On Oct 10 at 11.06am, the police were alerted to an accident involving a container trailer along BKE towards SLE.

"No injuries were reported.

"Police investigations are ongoing."
