Stomper Amylia spotted a snake slithering along inside a drain near the junction of Tampines Street 11 and Tampines Avenue 5 on Sunday (May 26) at about 10pm.
The Tampines resident told Stomp that this is the first time she has ever seen a snake in the area.
"I was shocked to see it," she said.
"My father said it's a python."
According to the Animal Concerns Research and Education Society (Acres), if you see a snake in trees, drains or green spaces, leave them alone as these are their natural habitats.
Be mindful of your pathway when you walk along waterways or trails.
