Large python slithers across drain in Toa Payoh North

A large python was spotted making its way across a drain near a coffee shop at Block 203 Toa Payoh North on Friday afternoon (Mar 29).

It was seen slithering across a pipe.

Stomper Wayne alerted Stomp to the sighting and shared a photo of the snake that was taken by his colleague.

According to him, there have been several snake sightings in the area over the past few years but it is nothing to worry about.

He conveyed a quote made by his colleague: "In my view, they are just shy and harmless creatures if we leave them alone."

Earlier this month, a python measuring about two metres was seen slithering in a canal at Toa Payoh North.

It is unclear if this is the same snake.
