A man is looking for the Tada driver who sent him home in the wee hours of New Year's Day.

The $12.08 fare had not been paid to the driver due to connectivity issues on the Tada app, said Stomper Shah.

Shah had boarded the silver or grey Toyota Altis, with a car plate beginning with 'SKW', between 3.40am and 4am on Jan 1.

The ride was from Block 819 Tampines Street 81 to Block 496G Tampines Avenue 9.

Shah told Stomp: "Apparently, the Tada app was having some connectivity issues and kept hanging. My payment to the driver was cancelled and I only realised it when I got home after showering.

"Upon checking the app, no record of the ride was found."

Addressing the driver, Shah said: "I can't remember your full name and licence plate number.

"Sir, if you are here and happen to see this, please contact me. I would like to honour my payment to you as you did send me home. Thank you!"
