No good deed goes unpunished, as the saying goes.

Stomper Jon experienced that first-hand when his good intentions not only went unappreciated but were also met with aggression.

He shared dashcam footage of the incident that occurred along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10 towards Ang Mo Kio MRT station on Monday (July 31), at around 3.58pm.

Jon recounted: "I honked at this Mercedes driver to alert him of oncoming traffic from my vehicle's direction as he was driving out from a small road to the main road without keeping a proper lookout.

"And what did I receive in return? He got upset and decided to drive past me with his middle fingers pointed at me, which I felt was extremely rude. He didn't even feel remorseful or apologetic at all!

"I really cannot understand why some road users simply cannot tolerate being honked at even when it's to alert them of danger.

"I hope Stomp can help to share this driver's terrible attitude.

"My advice to this P-plate driver: don’t be so rude if you are being advised by other road users! Drive properly and safely!"
