Stomper Sutharman was intrigued when he came across an unusual-looking spider that appeared to be staring at him along Petir Road on Friday afternoon (July 26).
He spotted the insect on a bollard at the HDB carpark of Block 202 Petir Road, at around 3.20pm.
"I was near the walkway when I noticed something strange and small on the bollard," he said.
"I thought it was a prank and went closer, but couldn't see what it was.
"I used my phone to take a photo and zoomed in on it."
Sutharman said he found it "very creepy" when he realised that it was a human-faced spider.
"Has anybody else seen this species of spiders in their neighbourhood?" he asked.
