Singtel apologises after 'small number' of 5G customers experience intermittent mobile data access

Singtel has resolved an issue of intermittent 5G mobile data access experienced by some users on Dec 14.

A Stomper, who was one of those affected, alerted Stomp to a statement Singtel posted on its Facebook page at 8.29am.

It said it was aware that some of its 5G users were experiencing intermittent access to their mobile data services.

It apologised for the inconvenience caused and advised customers to switch to 4G to continue to access their mobile data while their engineers were working to resolve the matter. 

At 7.20pm, Singtel posted an update to say the issue was resolved and apologised for the 'inconvenience this has caused a small number of 5G customers'.

It added that its engineers would continue to monitor the network closely.

This comes after thousands of customers experienced problems with the local telco's mobile data services on Dec 9.
