Cyclist sent to hospital after colliding with motorcyclist at Geylang Rd

A Stomp journalist saw the aftermath of a an accident involving a cyclist and a motorcyclist at Geylang Road at 7.30pm yesterday (Dec 2).

The Stomp team member was passing by the area and spotted a police car stopped near the fallen motorcycle and bicycle.

Pieces of both vehicles were lying on the road, and police officers were seen at the location.

The accident caused a jam along that road.

A police spokesperson said:

"On 2nd Dec 2016, at 6.15pm, the police were alerted to an accident involving a motorcycle and a bicycle along Geylang Road.

"The male cyclist was conveyed conscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

"Police investigations are ongoing."
