It is going to be a very wet September.
PUB warned of flood risk as the Ulu Pandan Canal's water level reached 100 per cent following heavy rainfall on Sunday morning (Sept 18) at around 9.30am.
The water has since subsided.
The national water agency also warned of flash floods in the following areas:
A section of the Ulu Pandan Park Connector in Ghim Moh was closed, reported The Straits Times.
The canal had a channel carved out of it on Sept 3 after soil was displaced into it following a landslide the previous day.
Just over two weeks ago on Sept 2 at the Ulu Pandan Park Connector next to the canal, a man suffered minor injuries after a landslide occurred near a Build-To-Order (BTO) construction site at Clementi Avenue 6.
On Friday (Sept 16), the National Environment Agency said that more rainfall is expected for the second half of the month than for the first half.
