Porsche goes up in flames on AYE

A Porsche caught fire along the the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) on Monday evening (Jan 10).

Several Stompers shared photos and videos of the car engulfed in flames.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp that it was alerted to the blaze along AYE towards Tuas after Keppel Road exit at around 7.40pm.

SCDF extinguished the fire using a compressed air foam backpack and a water jet.

There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
