A driver sped off after hitting a car that was parked on double yellow lines along Admiralty Road.
Stomper Anonymous, whose car was damaged in the incident, said the hit-and-run occurred outside An-Nur Mosque on sept 5, at around 5.15pm.
In dashcam footage that Anonymous shared with Stomp, a loud thud can be heard as a white Toyota appears to side-swipe his car. The Toyota does not stop despite honking from Anonymous.
The Stomper, who has made a police report, said: "There was no injury but my wing mirror was damaged. The driver could have stopped and settled this privately but chose to run.
"This is a stretch of road with three lanes, with a mosque and community centre along the road. Most of the time in the day, there are cars parked along the road.
"Just like in my police report, I won't deny that I had stopped my vehicle on double yellow lines. I did ask the police officer about parking there and was told these are two separate incidents. I might have to explain to the investigating officer about stopping there but the hit-and-run is a different offence.
"Two wrongs don't make a right. I would have stopped if I was the one whose vehicle knocked into others."
In response to a Stomp query, the police confirm that a report was lodged and are looking into the matter.
