Motorcyclist, 24, taken to hospital after accident with taxi at Jurong West Avenue 5

An accident involving a taxi and a motorcycle occurred at about 11pm on Aug 16 at the junction of Jurong West Avenue 5 and Jurong West Street 81.

Stomper Elvis was passing by the area when the saw the accident.

Stomp understands that the taxi was making a turn and did not see the motorcycle. The motorcyclist then collided into the side of the taxi.

A video of the incident was also posted on SG Road Vigilante's Facebook page.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said that they were alerted to the accident at 11.08pm.

The motorcyclist, a 24-year-old man, was conscious when conveyed to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
