A resident was nearly hit by three bricks that fell from height at Block 28 Jalan Bukit Merah.

The incident occurred on April 11, at around 8.45pm.

Facebook user Erwin Tan shared the close shave he had after someone threw down the bricks from the eighth storey.

The 43-year-old photographer wrote in his post: “Three seconds faster, I could have been badly injured, or posting this from hell. How could this happen?”

Mr Tan told Shin Min Daily News that he saw a male figure dropping three bricks from the eighth-floor corridor and recounted: “When he was about to drop the fourth brick, I shouted in his direction and he stopped.”

A police report has been made.

Other residents that Shin Min spoke to said they heard heavy objects falling last week and believed that the cases might be related.

In response to media queries, the police confirmed that they were alerted to a case of rash act.

No one was injured in the incident and investigations are ongoing.
