A 49-year-old man was arrested for stealing two gold bracelets valued at about $9,000 from a pawnshop at Redhill Lane, said the police.

The theft was reported to the police on Saturday (Aug 19) at about 6.30pm.

Through follow-up investigations and with the aid of images from CCTV and police cameras, officers from Clementi Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on the next day.
